Acrobatic Rose $84.95
With Acrobatic Rose the Magician removes a beautiful long-stem red rose from a vase of assorted flowers and shows the rose to the audience. He then pulls an elegant long silk from his jacket pocket and shows the audience that he has only the silk and the rose in his two hands. He puts both hands out in front of him and stretches the silk across his hands, allowing the rose to rest on top of the silk. All of a sudden, the rose begins to move around, floating up and down, from left to right, and even appearing in front of the silk! With both hands clearly visible and a good distance from the rose, the audience will be amazed at this seemingly impossible sight! Eventually, the rose returns to its original position, resting atop the silk. The Magician picks up the rose, shows it to the audience, and then places it back into the vase from which it originally came. This trick is completely self-contained. It doesn't use thread! Originated by Walter Smith. Few tricks can be picked up, worked in the hands, and set down again - and with color and fantastic mystery. This is one of the few. The Acrobatic Silks can be worked while surrounded by inquisitive, peering spectators. Three 18" silks hang down from a 14" long pole. Two of the silks are the same color, while one is a different color. The different color silk is made to jump from end to end on the pole, but not to the audience's satisfaction. The audience yells "You're just turning the pole around". Then, suddenly, the odd color silk jumps to the center of the pole, and stays there! Right away, the three silks are slowly and deliberately removed from the pole, with absolutely no funny moves at all!! Only the pole and the three silks are used. No threads, tape, wires, etc. Nothing is added or taken away. All may be examined. Watch the expression on their faces as it visibly happens right before their eyes.
